As a Clinical Psychologist with 14 years of education and training and over 25 years of experience, I am capable of handling a large variety of clinical services, including individual psychotherapy, psychological assessments, and consulting services for business owners and other professionals. My style has been described as warm and witty and I am committed to providing a caring, nonjudgmental environment for my patients. Raised in a small town, I am very sensitive to privacy needs. My practice is now in Buford, Georgia – so accessible to close in areas such as Dacula, Lawrenceville, Suwanee, Winder, Auburn, Braselton, and Sugar Hill; but also an easy drive from John’s Creek, Gainesville, and Duluth.

Individual Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy for adults and adolescents ages 16+ for the treatment of a variety of psychological disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and chronic anger. It may also be used to address problems such as relationship issues, grief, and weight loss.
Psychological Evaluations
Psychological Evaluations meet many different kind of needs. A person may want a deeper understanding of their behavior to verify their existing diagnosis. An evaluation might also be requested by a 3rd party for a specific purpose (like to join the military or adopt a child).
Pre-Surgical Assessments
This type of assessment is for the individual who wants to undergo a surgery that requires a psychological assessment as part of the pre-operative workup (such as is required for a spinal cord stimulator implantation or weight loss/ bariatric surgery).
Consultations
Businesses owners and professionals sometimes seek the services of a psychologists regarding their careers or work environments. For example, they may want to better understand a work-related situation or to learn to communicate in more effective ways.
